White Collar Criminals Rejoice! Eric Holder Will Be Appointed

The senate judiciary committee has endorsed Eric Holder’s appointment to become Attorney General under President Barack Obama with an overwhelming vote of 17-2. The two senators who voted against Holder are Republican Senators John Cornyn of Texas who demanded that Holder not proceed with any torture prosecutions, not that he would, and Tom Coburn of Oklahoma. All the rest went along with it, which means he’ll be approved by the senate in no time.

So why have these so-called hearings anyway, when all that’s required to achieve a high level government appointment is to be a corrupt pig? We have Tim Geithner the tax cheat, nonprofit profiteer Hillary Clinton, whose husband is in bed with foreign donors, and now this guy who thinks it’s OK to pardon white collar criminals, while his brothers are locked up for decades over a bag of weed? Whaddup wit dat shit? Oh, and we almost forgot Robert Gates the Bush family recycle. At least Obama is keeping his promise of transparency, because his knack for Clinton/Bush era recycles is pretty transparent, indeed.
