Senate Mobsters Confirm Eric Holder, Duh

Congratz to Eric Holder who was confirmed as attorney general by an impressive vote of 75-21. with all 21 who opposed him being Rethugs.  He is the first black – blah blah blah – attorney general, ever.  Hey, who cares if he’s a corporate crook who fights on behalf of corporate crook - he’s black, and he made history, and that’s all that matters. Change we need, indeed.

White Collar Criminals Rejoice! Eric Holder Will Be Appointed

The senate judiciary committee has endorsed Eric Holder’s appointment to become Attorney General under President Barack Obama with an overwhelming vote of 17-2. The two senators who voted against Holder are Republican Senators John Cornyn of Texas who demanded that Holder not proceed with any torture prosecutions, not that he would, and Tom Coburn of Oklahoma. All the rest went along with it, which means he’ll be approved by the senate in no time. MORE>

Surprise! Panel Endorses Tim Geithner The Tax Cheat For Treasury Post

The Senate Finance Committee approved Tim Geithner’s appointment for treasury secretary by a vote of 18-5, with all five of those who opposed being  from the Republican partay.  He now has to be confirmed by the senate, which will be a piece of cake. Told ya those confirmation hearings are useless. They’re merely inter-mob squabbles, and nothing else.  

How is it that a guy who fails to manage his own finances gets picked as treasury secretary under Obama, who claims to be a man of change? Yeah, we get the whole “lawmaker = law breaker” thing, but still.

The Democrats and Republicans who supported him claim they’re not happy with him, but decided to support him anyway, since not paying his own taxes won’t hinder his ability to effectively steal from the American people, by way of more bailouts that are bound to come.
