According to ABC News, Sen. Ted Kennedy collapsed during an inauguration luncheon in Washington, and his colleague Sen. Robert KKK Byrd, was carried out in a wheelchair. Either the two were completely overwhelmed by Obama’s swearing in, or something was put in that food. Regardless, we wish them well.
Roland Burris Is Now The Token Black Senator Of Illinois
Congratulations to Roland Burris, who was sworn in the Whites only senate today, after weeks of begging for a membership. Burris, who secretely purchased the Senate seat from Rod Blagojevich, is officially Barack Obama’s successor. But his success won’t be for long, because he’s not electable, since he’s too black and too proud. He’ll end up losing to some Republican white person, or perhaps Alan Keyes will finally win something in 2010? Oh, what a one hit wonder, Burris will be.
Yipee! Roland Burris Gets To Be That Token Senator
Like his hero George Wallace, Harry Reid has had a change of mind, or change of heart, whatever. He and his congressfools have agreed to seat that Jesus freak, Roland Burris, after embarrassing the poor guy, and leaving him out in the rain last week.
It’s interesting to note that in modern, post-racial America, the token black senators have always ended up in Illinois. First it was Carol Moseley-Braun, who ran for president for a couple of days in 2004, then Barack Obama, who bought his senate seat from Rod Blagojevich, and now we’ve got Mr. Senator Roland Burris, who also bought his Senate seat from Blagojevich.
So was spineless Harry Reid threatened, or what? We really think so.
Harry Reid Is Looking To Change His Mind About Burris
Oh look – Harry Reid is having a change of heart like his hero, George Wallace, did. Or maybe he’s just trying to do some damage control, since he knows how much the Democratic establishment relies on black people to survive. Or maybe Diane Feinstein threatened him, or something? Whatever the case may be, Burris has won the token Negro title for now. But he’ll be ousted in 2010 by the people of Illinois, because his credentials are not in place – meaning he’s just too damn black.
