Obama To Blacks: Don’t Be Like Mike, Be Like Me!

Prez Obama and his best friend, Mr. Teleprompter, delivered another cozy speech at yesterday’s NAACP centennial celebration. Aside from blabbering on about those who paved the way for him and how his anointment as the first black messiah failed to eradicate racism, he took a shot at all the black brothers and sisters who aspire to be on television like Lebron James and Lil Wayne :

“They might think they’ve got a pretty good jump shot or a pretty good flow, but our kids can’t all aspire to be the next LeBron or Lil Wayne,” he said. “I want them aspiring to be scientists and engineers, doctors and teachers, not just “ballers” and rappers. I want them aspiring to be a Supreme Court justice. I want them aspiring to be president of the United States.” MORE>
